Forest For Cover
Inspired by vibrant glades of the columbia gorge, this residence has it all. Sitting underneath the protection of mature aspen, maple, and fir trees we supported a place for community. Evergreen foliage, splashing water, and many new flowers yet to be seen. It is a paradise for the birds and bees - not to mention an intimate dinner in.
Like many gardens, sunlight conditions change and what was once planted begins to diminish. We began with a fading garden with a high contrast glossy red paths that felt a bit too city.
The Start
An old tea house almost was torn down, but some hope remained. The bones were still good.
